Kate Winslet Splits With Husband Sam Mendes
Well, it looks like the half-life of the marriage between Kate Winslet and her Revolutionary Road director Sam Mendes was just about seven years. We hear that the seven-year mark is sorta of a bummer.
On Monday Winslet announced her split from Mendes, and took her two children to Mexico to celebrate the news. Kate was looking pretty hot in a black bikini on a chartered boat while a lawyer made the statement that the divorce was amicable, saying, that the break-up is “entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement.”
Another source commented on the news revealing that it was their work schedules to blame, revealing that their “work schedules were too intense. They just couldn’t make it work.”
It’s sad to see a split, but we know that Kate will always land butter-side up so we’re not too worried!
