The Hurt Locker Steals 82nd Academy Awards

You might have expected James Cameron’s Avatar to rock the 82nd Academy Awards, but instead it was Kathryn Bigelow’s Hurt Locker that stole the show.

Hosted by none other than unlikely duo Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, last night’s Oscars were one of the most competitive yet, with The Hurt Locker and Avatar running neck and neck for Best Picture, but the award ending up in the Hurt Locker’s hands.
